William "Bill" Werner,70, of Clinton, NY, died Tuesday September 24, 2019 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse, NY.

He was born on March 24, 1949 in Flushing, NY. He graduated from Warwick Valley High School, and was a US Army Veteran. He worked as a New York State Corrections Officer.

He was a member of Clinton Fish and Game Club of Clinton, NY, Excelsior Sportsman Club of Eldred, NY as well as NY Mills Sportsman Association of Westmoreland, NY.

He is survived by nephew Roy F. Werner and wife Janet B. Werner, great-niece Madisyn and great-nephew, Brayden of Walden, NY.

He was predeceased by his parents Theodore and Adeline Werner, his twin brother Theodore H. Werner as well as his son Christopher and daughter Mary.

His Celebration of life will be held on Sunday September 29,2019 at 2:00 p.m.  with Military Honors conferred at the Clinton Fish & Game Club Inc., 3067 Lumbard Rd. Clinton,NY 13523.
