William Hanniable Stewart " Butch" , aged 78, residing in Westmoreland,  NY passed away on Wednesday,  March 22,  2023 from a brief illness. Private services will be held for just immediate family members at a later date.

William "Butch" was born on January 27, 1945, in Newport News ,Va and grew up in Raleigh, NC. He served two years in the US Army before going to work as tree arborist . He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family,  along with being outdoors  for tree work.

He will be greatly missed as his family pays tribute to him as " Butch was one of the kindest and generous individual you would ever meet, he will be greatly missed!"

Butch was predeceased by his mother, father and one grandchild. He is survived his wife Janette,  brother Ferman ( Pee Wee), 3  children William ( Amy ), George ( Bridget ) and April ( Reginald ) along with 6 grandchildren and  5 great-grandchildren.
