Victor Jarzombek's Obituary
Victor Jarzombek age 85 entered into rest on Sunday December 6,2015 at The Siegenthaler Center in New Hartford. He was called home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Born in New York Mills on September 26, 1930 he was the son of the late Victor and Mary (Kapalka) Jarzombek. Victor was raised and educated locally. He was married to Christine Yapaolo in 1978 and on March 12, 2003, their marriage was blessed and celebrated at St Anthony's Church in Chadwicks.
Victor was employed at the A&P in Utica and Partlow Corp. He finished his career at Price Chopper. Victor made friends easily and always enjoyed the company of others, especially while eating out at church dinners. He was the happiest going for rides with Christine to local state parks where they enjoyed nature.
Victor embraced the Catholic faith. His love for Jesus was evident in the decisions he made to attend bible study, receive Holy Communion at mass, and offer the Rosary to pray for those in need. After Christine's passing in June 2004, Victor took residency at the Presbyterian Home in 2005 where he was cared for due to the difficulty of Parkinson disease.
In Matthew 26:40 scripture says, "Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers you did it for me". Thank you to all who made this scripture his truth. He was very grateful for all those people who gave him support, care, comfort, and love. A kind gentle man who will be sadly missed by his caregivers Art & Nancy Kneller. His brother-in-law Philip Yapaolo Jr. of Sauquoit survives Victor. He was predeceased by his brother Edwin Jarzombek, his sister-in-law Madeline Yapaolo and his only nephew Jeffrey Yapaolo.

Victor's celebration of life will be held Thursday December 10, 2015 at 10 am at Sacred Heart -St. Mary's Catholic Church in New York Mills, NY where a mass of Christian burial will be offered by the Rev. Arthur Krawczenko .
Arrangements are under the guidance of John L. Matt Funeral Home, Chadwicks NY Expression of sympathy in the form of donations may be directed to St Jude's Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the service.
