Thomas A. "Tommy" Ferro, 58, of Utica, departed this life on Friday, Sept 2, 2022, at Colonial Nursing Home, Rome, NY.

Tommy was born in Utica, NY, the son of the late Charles J. "Chuck" and Helen Louise Boehlert Ferro.  He received his education and schooling from Roosevelt Grammar School and JFK High School.

Tom enjoyed spending time with his parents and grandparents and siblings.  He spent many days on his grandfather's cabin cruiser, at Sylvan Beach, with the late Tony Ferro.  He enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics and professional wrestling.  He also enjoyed dancing and he was a lady's man.

Surviving are his brothers and their spouses Charles A. Ferro and his wife Rita, of Copenhagen ,Denmark, John J Ferro and his wife Christine of Remsen, NY, Daniel J. Ferro and his wife Francine, of Clayville, who cared for Tommy and spent much time with him.  He also leaves  his Aunt Genevieve Ferro Gigliotti.  Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great nieces and  great nephews.

Tommy's visitation will be held on Wednesday Sept 7, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., at the John L Matt Funeral Home, 3309 Oneida St., Chadwicks, NY.  Interment will be private at Calvary cemetery.  Arrangements are under the guidance of the John L.
