Theodore F. Bliss, 80, of Clark Mills, NY, departed this life on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 with his loved ones by his side.

Ted was born in Whitesboro, NY, the son of the late Albert and Marian Walker Bliss.  He attended Hart' s Hill School one room school house and UFA then enlisted in the US Navy where he did tours in Vietnam on the USS Roosevelt.

Ted was united in marriage to the former Evelyn Ryder in 2009.  He was employed as a plumbing mechanic at Revere Copper and Brass, retiring in 2002.  Ted was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Ted will be sadly missed by his wife Evelyn, his son  Theodore Ted Bliss, Jr. and his wife Annette,  his daughter Lynda Penrod and husband Todd. Also surviving are his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces nephews and sister-in-law, Gloria Bliss.  He was  predeceased by his brother Richard Bliss, who passed in January 2021.

The family honored Ted's life privately.  Services will be held at the  Sauquoit Valley Cemetery at graveside on Monday June 27,2022 at 11 a.m., with military honors conferred.
