Mr. Steven J. Gentile, 46 of Utica, NY departed this life on Wednesday May 6, 2015. He was born in New Hartford, NY the son of Santo and Anna Marie DeStefano Gentile and was a graduate of New Hartford High School. He married the love of his life, the former Sandra O'Reilly, a union of ten years. Steven was a self taught computer programmer and excelled in technology. He worked at Upstate Network designing programs for companies as large as Ford Motor Groups. Outside of his computer talents, Steven had a passion for music, hockey, cooking and his beloved dogs. Steven will always remain in the hearts of those he loved, his wife Sandi, his parents Santo and Anna Marie Gentile, his Brother Christopher Gentile, his sister Melissa Gentile and her fiancé Michael Faccioli. He also leaves behind his niece and Godchild Gianna Marie Gentile Faccioli. Barkley, Stoley and Lennon, his constant canine companions, will always be watching over his loved ones in his absence. Steven's celebration of Life will be held 10:am Thursday at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel /Blessed Sacrament Church where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by the Rev James Cesta.
