Mrs. Santina M. Talerico, 85, of Utica, NY/Myrtle Beach, SC, entered into rest on Wednesday June 1, 2011 with her loving family by her side, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born in Utica, NY, the daughter of the late Joseph and Celia Nicotera Arcuri and was educated in local Schools. On July 10, 1943 she was married to James V. Talerico. They were married over 53 years. She was last employed at St. Joseph's Nursing Home. Tina is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James and Charmayne Talerico; two daughters and son in-laws, Marianne and James Malagese & Diane and John Angelino, all of Myrtle Beach, SC. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, James and Paul Malagese, John and Joseph Angelino, Jessica Register, Danielle Betz and Nicolette Talerico. And eight great grandchildren, Alec Malagese, Marisa and Joseph Angelino, Autumn and Jace Angelino, Taylor Grace and Nash Register, and Cameron Betz. Along with leaving many nieces and nephews, she is survived by a sister-in-law and two brother-in-laws, Theresa and Dick Pitrel and Frank LoConte. The Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday June 6, 2011 from the John L. Matt Funeral Home, and at 11 a.m. from St. Mary of Mt. Carmel /Blessed sacrament church, where a mass of christian burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery. Friends may call from 3-6 Sunday June 5, 2011 at the John L.
