Dr Rustico"Rusty" Wong, MD at age 81 departed this life on Wednesday December 9,2020 at the Masonic Care Community.
He was born in the Phillipines of parents of Filipino and Chinese ancestry. He studied to be a Doctor in the Philippines and came to New York City and later practiced medicine in the Utica area. He was a proud member of the Catholic faith and spent his last years at the Masonic care community and enjoyed his friendships especially his friend Angelo Pilagonia who predeceased him.
A graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Utica,NY at 8 a.m.Friday December 11,2020. Arrangements are under the guidance of John L Matt Funeral Home, Chadwicks,NY. To send an online message go to www.johnlmattfuneralhome.com
