Rooster (Mackenzie) Eisland, 21 of New Hartford, entered into rest on Thursday, September 27, 2018.

He was born on June 29, 1997, in Rome NY , the son of Marc Eisland and Michele Baker. He attended New Hartford Schools.

Rooster was a loving, honorable , and humble young man who always seemed to effortlessly put his family first. He lived his life on his own terms with seemingly no regrets. When he wasn't working, Rooster enjoyed mixing music, online gaming and spending time with his son, and could always be found to lend a helping hand to anyone who was in need. Anyone would be proud to call him their son, grandson, nephew, father, cousin or friend.

He is survived by his parents Marc and Michele, his grandmother Millie Eisland, Uncle Seth Eisland, his beloved son Milo, who brought much happiness to his life, his brothers Michael Eisland, Michael Arbes, Cory D' Ambrosi, Cody Corr, and sisters Angela Eisland, Adreeana Eisland, Rylynn Baker, Gianna Corr, and cousins Santino Calandra and his best friend, Carson Chilton, who, in reality, was more like a brother, also his faithful pet companion Toto McQueen, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 2 ^nd from 4-7 p.m. at the John L Matt Funeral Home, 3309 Oneida St., Chadwicks, NY.

Rooster's family welcomes you to attend his Celebration of Life on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Upper Chapel at Calvary Cemetery, 2407 Oneida St., Utica, NY.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Center and Freedom Guide Dogs of Cassville, NY.
