Mr. Richard H. Tonge, 68, of Rome departed this life on Wednesday, November 16,2022.  He was born in Antiqua, the son of Ionie Greene Appleton and the late Reuben Tonge. He was a carpenter by trade and was united in marriage to Elizabeth Whalen.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Tonge, his mother Ionie Greene Appleton, his  children, Jasmine Buttolpf, Natasha Fox and Eden Tonge. His sibilings, Eustace Greene, Gloria Claxton, Evette Tonge, Vaughn Clarke. He is also survived by four grandchildren and 81 cousins and was predeceased by his son Richard Tonge ,Jr.
