Mr. Raymond L. Haley,57 of Rome, NY entered into rest on Sunday December 30,2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Utica, NY the son of the late Leonard and Eleanor Ognowski Haley. He attended Utica schools and was a graduate of UFA. Raymond enlisted in the U.S. Marines in 1967,and served our country during the Vietnam War. Ray was the manager of the Carpet Doctor prior to his illness. He is survived by his two brothers and their spouses;David and Gina Haley,Rome,NY; Paul and Alyssa Haley,Mapleton ,NJ; His sister Donna and George La Fleur,Cornelius NC. Special Niece and Nephews ; Matthew and Ryan Haley; Stephen and Danielle La Fleur; Aidan and Liam Haley. He also leaves two special people,Carmen and Terri Bianco. Sincere thanks to friend Michael Schwartz for his care and support through Ray's illness. In keeping with Ray's wishes there will be no public visitation. Ray's Celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday January 04,2008 at St. Joseph's church Lee Center,NY where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
