Ralph P. Centolella, III, 69, departed this life with his loved ones at his side on Friday, January 29, 2021.
He was born on May 11, 1951 to Ralph Centolella,II and Elvira Migliaccio Heinrich. Ralph graduated from UFA in 1969. Ralph and Maria Cittadino were married on October 25, 1980, a marriage of 40 years. He worked in the Banking Industry for several years and later on as a Computer Specialist at SEMC where he retired a few years ago.
Ralph was a loyal, devoted and hard-working husband, father and friend. He loved family gatherings and outings and always organized every detail so everyone could enjoy. He was a fun filled person, loving life and all it had to offer. He was always there for his family and friends with anything they asked and looked out for everyone. Ralph could be found around town enjoying a cup of coffee with friends or at the Utica Aud cheering on our local hockey teams.
Ralph had many hobbies but truly enjoyed being a part of the Ilion, Clinton and New York Mills Fish and Game Clubs. He spent many hours working at the clubs, enjoying his buddies and target and rifle shooting.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Maria; his children Samuel and Danielle Centolella. His sister Philomena Centolella, Brother in-laws Anthony Cittadino and Philip Cittadino and Judy DeFina. His step-father Albert Heinrich. His nephews, David and John (Susan) Talerico, David Marriott, and Anthony and Samuel Cittadino. He leaves several aunts and uncles and cousins. He enjoyed the special bonds he had with his Aunt Josepine; Florida and Aunt Tina and Uncle Bob where Ralph and Maria shared many happy times together. Ralph enjoyed and cherished friendships with Tom Brown, Steve Malerba, Steve Deroucher, Karen and Sal Capuana, and Bob and Marilu Pacific. Ralph loved all animals, especially his beloved TiTi.
He was predeceased by his in-laws, Samuel and Lena Cittadino and a sister and brother in law David and Kristine Cittadino Marriott.
Ralph's Celebration of life will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday February 8, 2021 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/ Blessed Sacrament Parish where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by the Rev. James Cesta. There are no calling hours. Please be advised that you must register at the church 15 minutes prior to mass and all guests must follow Covid-19 requests wearing masks over nose and mouth.
