Pauline H. Poquadeck, 99 passed away February 5, 2019 at the Penn Yan Manor skilled nursing facility in Penn Yan, NY.

She was born January 20, 1920 to John and Rose (Glucky) Malysa in Auburn, NY.  As a child, the family moved to Clayville, NY where she attended Clayville Schools.  On May 3, 1941, she married Henry S. Poquadeck in Bayside, NY.  They enjoyed the company of each other, were hard workers and had a union of 60 years until Henry's passing in 2001.

Pauline will be remembered as a vibrant woman with a witty sense of humor.  She enjoyed gardening and was always especially proud of her flowers. She will be remembered for her home canning, where she enjoyed harvesting her own fruits and vegetables. She was a social person and would always enjoy the company of visitors.

Pauline was predeceased by her siblings   Mary Butrym, Louise Nichols, Margaret Goodstall, Harry Molesky,Frank Malysa and Michael Malysa.  She leaves behind her sister-in-law Bernice Malysa and many nieces and nephews.

Pauline's celebration of life will be held at St. Patrick-St. Anthony's Church on SaturdayFebruary 9,2019 at 10 a.m. where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated By the Rev. Arthur Krawczenko. Interment will be in St Mary's Cemetery, Clayville, NY in the spring.

In Lieu of flowers friends may contribute to do so to the American Heart Association in her memory.
