Patricia A.
Johnson
February 7, 1935 – May 17, 2021
Patricia A. Johnson, known as Pat, of Clinton, NY, went to be with the Lord on Monday May 17, 2021. There she was reunited with her husband Wally, who passed on Jan. 14, 2021, together never apart.
Pat was born on February 7, 1935, the daughter of the late Robert and Anne Murray. She had three siblings Bob, a beloved sister Jeanette, both deceased and one living brother, Barney. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Pat lived her life's passion by caring and providing for her loved ones and others. Pat worked at St. Luke's hospital and later on did private duty and home care. Who ever had her as a caregiver was blessed to have the very best. So when it was our family's time to take care of her we gave it our very best. Mother liked to read, cook, clean and entertain guests. And spend time with family!
Pat was a born leader. We wonder who will give the orders now! She was a spirited woman with a passion for life. Married to Wally, a beloved wife, a childhood sweetheart, and soul mate for 68 and ½ years.
Pat is survived by her four children; Vicki (Steven) Besler, Rick Johnson, Scott (Jill) Johnson and Valorie Lindsay, four grandchildren; Jessica (Jon) Rosato, Justin (Melissa) Besler, Joshua (Kelly) Johnson and Shawn Lindsay. Pat has five great grandchildren, twin girls, Kaitlyn and Ashley Johnson, Dominick Daniel Rosato, and twin boys, Ethan and Evan Besler. Pat took pride in everyone of her grandchildren.
The Johnson family wants to acknowledge our great grandmother Beulah Ulrich, who raised our mother from the age of 12 and taught to love the Lord and helped her to become the woman she was. We want to thank our brother Rick who constantly attended to the needs of our parents and his selfless devotion to them. We want to thank the Ossenfort family, the Lucy family, Roz, Maryellen, Michael and a special thank you to Diane Pomianowitz, who is like family, the Lutheran home, St. Elizabeth's Hospital for there care and attention.
Mother's Celebration of her life will be forthcoming and will be held privately at Skyline Baptist Church, at 7582 New Floyd, Rome, NY 13440, where the Rev. David Ossenfort will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Carr Cemetery Marcy, NY.
Contributions will be made to the Shepherd's Ministry, PO Box 430, New Hartford, NY.
