Myrna J. Talento, 70, of Chadwicks, NY, departed this life on Friday, September 29, 2023, at Faxton St. Luke's Med Center with her loved ones by her side

Myrna was born in Utica, NY, the daughter of the late Walter and Sophie (Kokosenski) Koscinski.   She was educated at St. Joseph elementary and a graduate UFA high school.  She was united in marriage to Philip J. Talento Aug 5, 1979 and they just celebrated their 44th anniversary.

Myrna was employed at the Sauquoit Valley School cafeteria for 17 years and was well known by many in the community.

Myrna  is survived by her husband Philip and her three sons, Michael Talento & his wife Jillian, of Florida, Thomas Talento & Stephanie and Matthew Talento & his wife Colleen, of Chadwicks, NY.  Also surviving is her granddaughter Sophie Talento .  Her surviving siblings, Rose Stevens and husband Ernie of Verona, NY, Peter Koscinski and his wife Cindy of Barneveld, NY, Mike Koscinski and his wife Maryann of Utica, NY.

Myrna Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct 4, 2023 at The John L Matt Funeral Home, 3309 Oneida St., Chadwicks, NY.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9-11 a.m.  Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family would like to thank her sister Rose Stevens, Steve Sickler and Dr. Alicia DeTraglia, for the care extended to Myrna.
