Mr. Michael A. Curriere Jr., 55, of New Hartford, departed this life Friday, April 14, 2017, at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, with his loved ones by his side.

Michael was born in Utica, NY, the son of Michael A. Curriere Sr., and the late Lorraine Steppello Curriere.

He was a graduate of Proctor High School and through further education, he became a Licensed Electrician.

Mike operated Mic-Dilyan Contracting until his illness.  He enjoyed the time coaching his son Michael in baseball at the Mt. Carmel Little League.

Michael is survived by his children, Amanda Lynn Curriere and her half brother Jerry, Isabelle Curriere, Noah Curriere and Michael Curriere. his father, Michael A. Curriere Sr., his sisters and brothers, Roseanne Christensen, Frank J. Curriere Sr. (Deborah),  Michelle Lopiccolo (William), Philip Curriere  (Deborah), Lori Lismore (George), and Thomas Curriere. He also leaves his companion Cliffanne  LaBarge and her daughters, Andrea, and Amanda, Melissa and son Ethan. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

His mother Lorraine Steppello Curriere and brother Patrick Curriere predeceased Michael.

At the request of the family, there will be a private family gathering.
