Michael Guy Citrinite Sr., 55, was born in Utica, NY, on November 10, 1969, and passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2024, in Atlanta, GA. Michael was the son of the late Guy Citrinite Jr. and Marlene Marlenga.

Michael graduated from Utica Free Academy. He had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back. He loved music and was deeply involved in the family music business. He was a great storyteller who could always keep you on the edge of your seat.

He is survived by his mother, Marlene (Marlenga) Citrinite; Jeff Demko; his sister, Michelle Citrinite; his son, Michael Citrinite Jr.; his aunt and uncle, Mary and Tony Citrinite; his cousins, Tina (Citrinite) Drennen and Anthony Citrinite; and his close friends, Mark Flagg and Sam Flowers.

Although Michael faced many challenges, his memory will be carried forward by those who loved him. In honoring his life, we acknowledge his struggles and connection to his family and loved ones who will remember him fondly.

At this time, no memorial service will be held. The family asks for privacy as they navigate this loss.
