Mary E.   Francis Steele, 80 of  New Hartford, NY passed away  June  12,2025.

She was born Jan 13, 1945 the daughter of the late James Paul (Emma) Francis and graduated from UFA and later  attended  LPN school at Oneida County Boces and became a wonderful nurse. She took pride in her nursing career and was great caregiver to the patients at the former St. Joseph' Nursing Home.

Mary had two children; Bonniejean Steele and her son James who predeceased her on June 11 1971. Also surviving grandson David W. Harvey,Jr. and his wife Kayla, great granddaughters Mariah and Jasmine Harvey, and Shonta Finch. Her Kitty Cat "Emma".

The family would like to thank Presbyterian Nursing Home day care staff and the bus drivers  who were awesome to Mary.

Services will be held at grave side at  Forest Hill Cemetery on Saturday July 12,2025 at 11a.m.
