Mary Jude Cerminaro Romanzo , 76, of Utica, entered into rest on Monday Novemeber 16,2015 at the Masonic Care community with her loved ones by her side..

She was born in Utica,NY the daughter of the late Pasquale and (Giovanna Marano) Cerminaro, and was a graduate of Utica Catholic Academy and Utica College.

She was a life long parishioner of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church, where she received the sacraments. She faced her final days with the firm conviction that she would be with Our Lord and reunited with her family. May she rest in peace.

Mary had a very close relationship with her son and grandchildren and will be sadly missed. Mary is survived by her son Robert (Dawn) Romanzo and four grandchildren Chrissy (Adam) Michael, Angela and Patricia. She also leaves two sisters: Paula (Pat) Corriero and Jennie (Robert) Joseph.

Her celebration of life and family gathering will be held at the Masonic Care Community at a time to be announced in early December 2015.

Mary's mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Arthur Krawczenko  on Friday November 27, 2015 at  10 a.m. at Sacred Heart-St. Mary's NYM,NY. Interment will be in the spring  at Calvary cemetery.
