Martha Lallier Mineo Fetterly Martha Fetterly, 63 of Whitesboro, departed this life in the comfort of her home peacefully on December 4, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. She was born April 30, 1951, the daughter of late Francis and Leona (Smith) Lallier and graduated from New Hartford High School. On June 22, 1979 she married Donald Fetterly and was blessed with 35 years of marriage with great love and devotion. Martha and Don were totally devoted to each other and were a one of a kind match made for one another. She pursued a long career in child care with a great deal of love and passion for children and was referred to as Nana by all, teaching and touching every child that entered her home! She was a special lady with a beautiful personality and a big heart to go with it. She touched many lives with her talents, compassion and friendship. She loved to crochet and cook holiday meals. She is survived by her beloved husband Donald, her son Richard Mineo,Jr. and his wife Lisa, and three beautiful grandchildren, Rachelle, Jacob and Sarah Mineo, her loving and devoted sister Rosemary Painter, a very special niece Barbara Kallassy and her husband Robert, sons Jason and Rhett. Her brothers and sisters - Francis and Gwen Lallier, Jean Blair, Richard and Joyce Lallier, Theresa and David Linder, Walter and Janet Lallier, Mary Schermerhorn, Susan and Mike Kochem, Louis Lallier, Stephen and Joann Lallier, Elizabeth and John Furner, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her niece Bonnie Furner Bohling ,and a very special brother-in-law Arden Painter. There are no calling hours. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Sacred Heart St. Mary's Church Our Lady of Czestochow in New York Mills.
