Marilyn Tartaglia, 77, of Utica departed this life on Friday, November 11, 2022 at the Pines Rehabilitation

and Nursing Center, after an extended illness with Dementia and Alzheimers.

Marilyn was born in Utica, NY, the daughter of the late Harry and Antoinette Giannotti Massaro and was a graduate of Proctor High School and a graduate of Utica College.  On  May 21,1966 Marilyn and Roger Tartaglia were united in marriage and shared that loving devotion for 56 years. Marilyn was the Assistant Property Manager with Six Nations Square before retiring.

Marilyn is survived by her husband Roger, her daughter Pamela Fancher, grandchildren, Joshua Fancher and Allison Murray, Aimee Fancher and Kyle Waters, Isabella Fancher, great grandchildren, Leah Fancher, Jaida Fancher, Aurora Fancher, Malachi Ward, and upcoming great granddaughter Starr Waters. She also leaves her son, Michael Tartaglia and spouse Kimberly Tartaglia, grandchildren Nicholas Tartaglia, Lucianna Tartaglia, sister-in-law Beverly Massaro, nephew and niece Ronald Massaro and Michelle Massaro, brother-in-law Joseph Tartaglia wife Lorraine Tartaglia, brother-in-law Anthony Tartaglia and wife Diane Tartaglia and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Ronald Massaro, who died July 4, 2016 and her mother and father in law, Anthony (Blacky) Tartaglia and Josephine Tartaglia.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. on Tuesday Nov. 15, 2022 at the John L. Matt Funeral Home, 3309 Oneida St. Chadwicks, NY.  Services will follow at Calvary Cemetery at Christ Our Savior Mausoleum, at 11:45 a.m.  Entombment will be at the convenience of the family.
