Margaret   A. "Peggy" Ginniff, 79, of Baldwinsville, departed this life on March 24,2024, at SUNY Upstate hospital.

She was born in Glens Falls, NY the daughter of the late Harold Sinclair and Mildred Smith Ginniff.

Peggy graduated from Lake George Central School, where she was a member of the Future Teachers Club. In 1966, she graduated   from The State University at Potsdam, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology  and started her teaching career  at  North Syracuse School Systems.

She later taught and retired from the Baldwinsville School District in 2001. She also worked across the country educating teachers around the country on strategies for improving elementary education. She was an active member of the Women's Garden Club of Baldwinsville, NY. She had recently worked with other members to start an annual scholarship to be given to a Baldwinsville senior who expresses interest.

Peggy wii be sadly misssed and  leaves behind many of her neighbors on Reston Drive  along with her feline companion, Bissey.

Services will be held Friday, April 12, at 11a.m., at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 4876 Onondaga Rd. Syracuse, NY 13215, where the Rev. David Bena will officiate. Interment will be in Lake George Cemetery, Lake George, NY
