Margaret Palmer's Obituary
Margaret Peggy Palmer,80,of Boonville,NY and formerly of Oneida,NY departed this life on March 15,2016 with her family by her side at Sunset Nursing & Rehab Center,Boonville,NY
She was born in Oneida,NY the daughter of the late John and Nellie Magee DeSenza, and spent her childhood there. She went on to work at Oneida Lmtd. for 40 plus years.Peggy raised her three children in Sherrill with her first husband,LeRoy Bowman and later with her second husband-Larry Palmer.
She enjoyed spending time with her family at their camp Bear Creek Lodge and Golf Course in Forestport,NY,where she worked hard and helped others. She enjoyed snowmobiling,golfing with family and friends. She became a resident of Sunset Nursing home in 2014, helping those in need,and had made many friends.
She will be sadly missed by her three children and their spouses, Bryan & Annette Bowman, Debbie & Jim Vrooman, Shelly & Pete Phillips. Eight grandchildren and their spouses,Dustin Bowman,Matt Bowman, Jess & Mike Weaver, Amy Vrooman, Kim Vrooman, P.J. Philips, Heid & Herb Cronizer, Heather & Ron Jackson. Five great-grandchildren, Jessika, Karly & Ian Cronizer,Haley Phillips, Mason & Dylan Weaver. Her brother Nick DeSenza.
Also surviving are many in-laws,nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband LeRoy Bowman,her second husband Larry Palmer.her brother John DeSenza,Jr. and her great grandson Konnor Jackson.
Peggy's family honored her in a private family gathering as per her wishes.
