Mr. Marc A. Spagnola, 18, of Frankfort, NY, entered into eternal peace on Thursday April 5, 2012 with his loving family and friends by his side after a courageous battle against Muscular Dystrophy. Marc was born August 1,1993 in Oneida, NY, the son of Albert and Tracey (Roberts) Marrone. He attended Utica schools and was presently a senior at Sauquoit Valley High School. He was an avid sports fan and faithfully cheered for the NY Yankees and NY Giants. Marc will be sadly missed by his parents Tracey and Al Marrone; three sisters, Taylor and Kelsea Spagnola and Marina Marrone; one brother, Nick Steele of Georgia and also his paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Morelle Eaton. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins especially the most the dear to his heart his aunts Julie Spagnola and Rebecca Klein, his godparents, Uncle Jason Roberts and Kathleen Sandouk and his confirmation sponsor, Paul Curtacci. Marc also leaves many friends who have touched his life: Danielle Magnusson and family, Shawnna Champion and family, Brenda Kuhn and family, Claudia Trad and family, Martin and Katia Richlin, Susan Deis, Mallory Hardy, Gil Oliveras, Leeanne Miller, Juanita Suits, BreA'nna Palmer, Trevor Hash, Daizon Camp, Kathryn Rechsteiner, Laura Homer-Gunther, John Baker and Marie Cittadino. Marc touched the hearts to all those who knew him. He was an inspiration to everyone. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff at Sauquoit Valley Central Central School, Oneida BOCES, Utica City Schools, CompassionNet, Hospice, and all the physicians and staff who provided comfort and care to Marc throughout his life. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday April 10, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, New Hartford, NY, where the Rev. Joseph Zareski will officiate.
