Lorraine I. Stamboly Tedesco, 88, of Utica/New Hartford, departed this life on Saturday, November 13, 2021.

Lorraine was born in Utica, the daughter of the late Norman and Sadie Mardany  Stamboly and was educated locally.  She was united in marriage with Dave Tedesco in 1954, until his passing in 1999 and was employed as a bus driver with the Utica School systems for many years.

She was a talented seamstress and an avid golfer.

Lorraine is survived by her three children, Carmella Reynolds, and her husband Mark, Elizabeth Tedesco, Fred Tedesco and his wife Sandra; her siblings, Evelyn Casper, Eleanor Steppello, Virginia DeGeronomo and her husband Louis, William (Billy), Ronald and Michael Stamboly.  Also surviving are grandchildren, John Rice,  Steven Rice, Carmella Rice, James (Jimmy) Tedesco, Fred Tedesco Jr., Christina Tedesco and Patrick Tedesco.  She also leaves fourteen great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by siblings, Basil Stamboly and Mary Murad and in-laws, Elias Casper and Adeline Stamboly and predeceased by her  grandson Scott Rice.

Lorraine's liturgy of the faithful departed will be held Thursday November 18, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St Basil's Greek Melkite Catholic Church.  Family will greet guests at the conclusion of the mass. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.  In Lieu of flowers please contribute to St. Jude's  Research Hospital.
