Lorraine D Zakrzewski - SantaMaria (Mom, Gram, Gigi, Lo) Born on February 22nd, 1934, in Frankfort, NY, nearly 89 years young and full of life. Lorraine went to be with the Lord, peacefully in her sleep, in the very early morning hours of February 6th while in her New Hartford, NY condo/home.

Lorraine was born at home in Frankfort, NY, into a large family of 10 Children (5 girls & 5 boys) to Paul & Victoria. She was raised and resided in Frankfort/New Hartford, NY and enjoyed regular wintertime visits to Florida. Lorraine was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ, who held dear memories with her family.

She was active and well-loved in her Church and community. A lover of classical and old country music. She was fascinated with animals, from birds to bears. Her laugh was distinct and perpetually contagious. Lorraine was a fashionable and beautiful lady. She encouraged us lovingly to reach our dreams, while proudly boasting about her family, every opportunity she had; her family was her legacy. A talented and creative artist with a passion for cooking, ensuring every belly was full. Lorraine spoke with honesty, with a strong-willed spirit and worked hard without complaint; always made sure to be there when needed most. She inspired us with her love, truth and passion, she mastered the ability to live each day to the fullest, appreciating even the smallest beauties life offered.

Lorraine is survived by her son, Mark & daughter-in-law, Jacqueline, along with five grandchildren: Jennifer & her husband Kevin, Joshua & his wife Trisha, Sarah, Aleah & her husband Zack, Benjamin & his wife Ara; twelve great grandchildren: Nicole & her husband Alex, Jacob, Kylie & Anna, Isaac, Isaiah, Joseph & Ellah, Aylah (& baby girl coming soon), Maibel & Aurora, as well as two great-great grandchildren: Cole & Lincoln, along with 3 siblings: brothers; Richard, Henry & John and several nieces & nephews. Lorraine is preceded in death by her son Larry; granddaughter, Chenet; parents,  Paul and Victoria,  as well as three sisters; Francis, Doris and Rosemary and two brothers; Eugene and Robert.

Family and friends are invited to come together on Saturday, Feb. 18th 3-6pm, for a Memorial Service at Living Faith Bible Church, 2922 Oneida St., Sauquoit, NY 13456. Celebration of Life to follow this summer. We honor the legacy she leaves behind for all whose lives she touched throughout hers here on earth. We will live our lives by her example and her grace.
