Leon Williams passed away into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 13 , 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Born December 25, 1939 in Utica, NY to Ray and Helen (Kiefl) Williams. He graduated from UFA in 1957 and entered the U.S. Air Force, serving his country until 1961. He was employed by GE as an electronic technician for 30+ years.
Leon's greatest love was his family. He leaves his wife of 56 years, Patricia (Tears); his sons Ray and Carrie, Rich and Christine, Steve and Rachael and Jon and Rachelle; his daughters Michele and George Stevens, Jennifer and Sahin Bilal, Sharron and Mitch Sierson and a daughter in-law Sarah Roscup; and his 30 grandchildren, seven of who are married and have blessed him with 11 great-grandchildren.
Surviving him are his two sisters Carol and Don Wyman and Mary and Ed Skinner along with many nieces and nephews. Leon was predeceased by his father, mother and his brother Ray Douglas Williams.

A private graveside service will be held for the family. Friends and family are invited to stop by the Cassville Baptist Church pavilion for an informal celebration of life gathering on June 23rd between 2 - 7 pm. Bring a lawn chair and a memory to share.
