Kyona M. Lawrence, 38, of Utica, NY, departed this life on Sunday September 8, 2024 at the Wynn Hospital, Utica, NY.

She was born in The Bronx Borough of New York City and was educated there and made her home in Utica,NY with her life partner Naeem Giles and from that union they have their son King Naeem Giles who survive her. She is also survived by her brother Dartahveous Woodley, her sister Asia Giles  and a host of friends. She was employed with the Hartford Insurance Company.

Kyona spent most of her life taking care of everyone and in the end her son and husband made sure she was taken care of.
