Kenneth P. Ellsworth, 77 of Sauquoit, NY departed this life on Sunday, December 1,2019 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Utica, NY, the son of the late Karl and Mildred Elliott Ellsworth. He attended local area schools.  In 1963 he was united in marriage to Kathleen Di Pietro, and moved to Sauquoit where they raised their four children.

Kenneth, at one time one worked for Univac. His last place of employment was with Indium Corporation. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry, astronomy and spending time with his family.

He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Kathy and his four children;  Elliott Ellsworth and his wife Michele; Wayne Ellsworth and his companion Jackie Barnard; Keith Ellsworth and his wife Renee; Steve Ellsworth and his wife Kristine. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Samantha Ellsworth, Matthew Ellsworth, Ashley Ellsworth, Kenny Ellsworth, Rachael Ellsworth, Justin Ellsworth and Steve Ellsworth, Jr. as well as four great grandchildren: Skyler, Maria, Corina, and Mason, one brother; Elliott "Buddy" Ellsworth; and two sisters; Shirley Gray and Karol Gray. His sister Rosemary Crosier predeceased him.

As per Ken's wishes, the family gathered at his bedside and honored his life during  a private time. There will be no services or calling hours. Inurnment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
