Josephine Marie Julian Serour, 95, of Oneida, NY, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2019. Josie brought much joy and connection to friends and family in Utica, Oneida, and Florida. Her love of cooking and socializing put smiles on the faces of countless guests.

Josie is survived by her daughter Diane and husband Peter Ferris of Oneida, NY, her grandchildren, Jeff Trueman and wife Bridget Parlato of Baltimore, MD, and Kristin and husband Joseph Capotosto of Oneida, NY. Josie is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Hayden Parlato, Jack and Josie Capotosto. Josie's surviving siblings are Helen Buttiglieri and Connie Gigliotti and surviving brother-in-law Basil and wife Dottie Serour. She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Tony Serour.

Josie's family would like to thank the staff at the Extended Care Oneida for the wonderful care she received over the past 3 1/2 years. Special recognition is extended to Norma Martino for her love and care of Josie for many years.
