Joseph  J. Piluso, 81, of Whitesboro, NY, departed this life on Friday April 25,2025.

Joe, was born in Utica, NY the son of the late James (Jimmy ) and Rose Muraca  Piluso  and was educated in local schools. After graduation he enlisted in the Army Reserves then joined his father at his garage on Main St.  in Whitesboro, NY where they joined their automotive capabilities. Later on Joe along with his father built the garage on Mohawk St. Whitesboro, NY. They serviced the trucking and tractor-trailer industry and maintained an impeccable service to many of the over the road tractor trailers.

On December 3,1982 Joe was united in marriage to Jeanne Bateson and they had a loving relationship for 42 years. He enjoyed boating at his camp in Old Forge, along with his desire for old cars.

Joe was always available for his family and his customers working long and hard hours.

He will be sadly missed by his family, his beloved wife Jeanne; his son Joseph Piluso, his two sisters Joanne Angelhow and Janet Noe ; step daughters; Heather Pierce, Amy Zeszutko; grandchildren; Hannah Pierce,  Tyler Secor, Eddie  Zeszutko, Tessa Zeszutko, and Olivia Zeszutko. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son James  Piluso.

Joe's Celebration of life will be held at on Thursday May 1, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Whitesboro, NY where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Thomas Durant. There will be a time after the mass to greet the family. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations to  The Jamie George Foundation will be appreciated, envelopes will be available at the church.
