John  P. Angelino, 84, of Longs, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on September 2, 2026.

John was born on February 13, 1942, in Whitesboro, New York, the son of John and Jennie Jane Angelino. He was educated in the Whitesboro school system. Following graduation, John proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served for five years.

On June 27, 1969, John married the love of his life, Diane. Together, they shared 57 wonderful years of marriage, building a life filled with family, love, and countless memories.

John worked for Univac until the company relocated to Utah. He then began a long career with Utica Transit/Centro, where he remained until his retirement.

John was a kind and generous man who was loved by everyone fortunate enough to know him. He had a wonderful sense of fun and a genuine love for people. He enjoyed playing baseball and football with his sons and their friends at the playground on Flagg Street, where he lived. He also enjoyed playing golf and visiting casinos. A lifelong sports fan, John proudly cheered for the New York Giants and the New York Yankees.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Diane; his sons and daughters-in-law, John and Teresa Angelino of Longs, SC, and Joseph and Sindy Angelino of Longs, SC; and Scott Rondeau of Little River, SC, who was like a son to him.

He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Marisa Wells and Alex, Autumn Angelino, Joseph Angelino II, and Jace Angelino; and his great-granddaughter, Emery Grace Wells.

John leaves behind his brothers-in-law and their wives, James and Charmayne Talerico of Longs, SC, and James and Marianne Malagese of Longs, SC. He is also survived by his nephews, James and Paul Malagese and Matthew Angelino; and his nieces, Jessica Register, Danelle Betz, Nicolette Wright, and Susan Becker. He also leaves several cousins and many dear friends who will cherish the memories they shared with him.

He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Angelino, and sisters-in-law, Betty Angelino and Marie Angelino.

At John's request, there will be no calling hours. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday September 11, 2026 at 12 noon at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, North Myrtle Beach,South Carolina.
