Joan B. Sullivan , 86, of Boonville, NY and formerly of Ilion, NY  departed this life on Sunday January 14, at Sunset Nursing  and Rehab Center.

She was born in Utica, NY the daughter of the late John and Corrine Ramsey Springer she was educated locally. She was united in marriage to Floyd Dennison and from that union they  had 2 daughters Debbie Ultsch  and Corinne  Major. She was united in a second marriage with John Sullivan on Feb 14,1998 he died on March 12, 2002.

Joan worked for GE on Bleecker St. Radio Receiver and was lastly employed with Conmed Corporation and was a dedicated employee for 36 years.  She loved animals and children.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter,  Debbie Ultsch and her Husband Dave ,

Grandchildren Jason Ultsch and his wife Sarah, Jeffrey Ultsch and his wife Maria;  Jennifer Quinn and her husband Ryan; Matthew Major great grandchildren Jamie Ultsch, Chase Ultsch, Reagan Ultsch, Liam Ultsch., Matthew Denicola.

She was predeceased by her daughter Corinne ( Candy)  Major and her husband Stephen ( Steve)Major .

Joan's Celebration of Life will be held at 12:30 pm Thursday Jan 18 at the John L Matt Funeral Home 3309 Oneida St. Chadwicks, NY. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. -12:30 PM. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  Family would like to thank the caregivers at Sunset Nursing and Rehab for the care extended to Joan.
