Joan N Fiaschetti, 88, of Rome, New York departed this life on Saturday April 13, 2024 at Wynn Hospital Utica NY, with loved ones by her side. She was born in Manhattan borough of NY, the daughter of the late Catherine Lockwood and Stephen Nolan and attended Holland Patent Central School.

She worked and retired from Rome City Hall and presently helped with the Oneida Couty Board of Elections and was a Notary Public for the State of New York.

She is survived by 2 beloved sisters: Ann Cimo, and her sister Catherine Root. Preceding her in death are her brother Harold Johnson and daughter Paula Russo Johnston. She is survived by her children, Deborah M Verminski, Jo Marie Hedrick, Michael Fiaschetti, Michele Bowerman, and her 5 stepchildren, John Fiaschetti Jr., Michael Fiaschetti, Veronica Capponi, Kathy Gomez and Frank Fiaschetti.

She leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Those who knew her found her to be passionate, strong, full of grace and elegant. She will be missed by one and all.

Services will be held at 9:00am on April 18th, 2024, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 200 North James Street Rome, New York 13440. Family would like to thank The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Home and Wynn Hospital for their care and concern during her final days.
