Jean H. Babicz, at age 79 of Utica, NY entered into rest on July 25,2017 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center with her loved ones by her side.

She was born in Cohoes, NY the daughter of the late Andrew and Josephine Kupiec Noga, and was educated in Utica schools. Jean and Theodore Babicz were united in marriage on Sept. 1 1956 and shared this sacred vow for over 60 years. Jean worked for GE radio receiving in Utica retiring in 1964.

She was a gifted baker and cooked traditional Polish foods, and enjoyed being with her grandchildren, family and friends.

Her husband Ted and her two children, Michael Babicz and his wife Kathleen, of Rome, NY and Gerrianne Hall, will sadly miss her.

Also surviving are her grandchildren Michael, Amanda and Hailey Babicz and Brianna Jean Santy, Andrew Sloma and his wife Brittany. Great grandchildren Wyatt and Aandon Babicz, Jaxsyn and Ryleigh Ekes and Weston Michael Sloma.

Her funeral will be Saturday at 10 am at Historic St. John's Church Bleecker St Utica where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by the Rev. John Buehler.  Family  will receive visitors after the mass. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
