James A. Giglio, 77, of Utica, entered into rest on November 20,2015.
He was born in Utica, the son of the late Achille and Madeline DeLorenzo Giglio, and was a graduate of T.R.Proctor High School and Utica College.

James was employed with Met Life for over thirty years as an Insurance Adjuster. He was married to the former Marie Ciaiola in 1966, a union until her passing, on June 26, 2007.

He is survived by his two beloved sons, Kyle Giglio and Lauren Fisher of New Hartford, Christopher and Charlene Giglio of Laurel, MD; his grandchildren, Kylie Giglio, C.J. and Chase Giglio, Mitchell Zasa and Brendan Fisher; nieces and nephews Bridget and James Everett ,TN, ,Kelly and Kent McLaughlin, TN, and Mike and Laurie Monopoli, Newport, NY.

Mr. Giglio enjoyed a special relationship with neighbors Gerald and Sue Sessa, Carolyn and Larry March, Eleanor DeVito, and his best friends Louis and Tony Esper. He was predeceased by his brother Nicholas Giglio and his sister Palmenia Jensen.

James' Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 19,2015 at Historic Old St. John's Church, where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by the Rev. John A. Buehler. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in the spring.
