Jacqueline F. Satterlee

1938-2022

Born August 25, 1938, Jacqueline (Jackie) F. Satterlee lived a long love filled life until her passing June 9, 2022.  Jackie loved to garden, bake cookies and crochet.  Many will remember the vast amount of cookies she gave away every year at Christmas time.  In the summer months, no visit to her house was complete until you took a tour of her many flower and vegetable gardens.  She looked forward to having family gatherings at her home and would make more food than an army could possibly eat, sending all home with care packages that would last a week.  She made Afghans for every one in the family and for many friends.  She received great joy in giving to others.

For many years Jackie worked on the dairy farm with her partner Rod Jennison.  She also worked as a seamstress, and baker at Hannaford's in Washington Mills.

Jackie is survived by her two sons, Doug and wife Erika with chidren Lottie, Kacey and Peter, Larry and wife Darla with children Mike, Nicole, Steven and Kayla, and daughter Cindy Murphy.  Jackie also had 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Also survived by three siblings, brother Edward Yager and wife Christine, sisters Sarah Johnson and Emma Jean Buffett.  Jackie is predeceased by her twin brother John, brothers Stanley and Gordon, sister Peg and life partner Rod Jennison.

There will be a private graveside service for the family on Saturday June 25,2022, followed by a luncheon at  12 noon at the Bridgewater Congregational Church, 382 North St. Bridgewater, NY 13313, celebrating Jackie's life.
