Ingrid A. Soucy, age 78, was unexpectedly reunited with her husband Ken, on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

Ingrid was born in Fulda, Germany on April 5,1945. The daughter of Franz and Teresa ( Helner ) Etzel. She was one of eight children and immigrated to America. She was a homemaker and traveled  with her husband whenever possible.

Mrs Soucy is survived by four children, Sandra and Brian Bouyea, Ken, Jr and Dee Soucy, Jennifer Millett and Michael Millett and Mary Francis Soucy; her grandchildren Patrick, James , Megan, Kenny, Kristen, Ethan and Alex as well as three great grandchildren.

Ingrid felt blessed for the opportunities to travel within the United States and abroad, meet new people and experience life to the fullest. Ingrid lived in over fifteen locations within the United States and abroad and was grateful for each experience.

Per Ingrid's wishes there will be no services. Her family honored her life at private time. Burial will be in the spring next to her husband.

The family wishes to thank the staff and residents of Masonic Care Community. Especially those on the Forrestport Unit who treated her so kindly over the past year.
