Helen Gutowski Taylor Goff, 80 of Utica, NY, departed this life and went on to be with the lord on Tuesday, May 26,2015, at the Pines at Utica . She was born in Utica, NY, the daughter of the late Anthony and Frances Pyc Gutowski, and was educated in Utica Schools. She was married to Theodore Taylor in 1956 until his passing in 1965. Helen was employed with Utica Mutual Insurance for many years. In 1972, she married Richard Goff. She was a life member of the American Legion, New Hartford, and the VFW 7393. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Richard and daughter, Kathleen Maltese and her husband, Paul; her step-son, Michael Goff; her beloved grandchildren, Matthew Maltese and his wife,Brittany, and Jennifer Mbugua and husband, Mathu ; and her beloved great grandchildren, Teanna, Kimani and Ju Ju Mbugua and Christian and Brayden Maltese. Also surviving her brother, John Gutowski Services will be held at Gospel Light Baptist Church, 1605 St. Agnes Ave., Utica,NY, on Thursday at 3 pm by Brother Jody Martin, Pastor.
