Gloria Jean Hosey, 97, of Sauquoit, NY departed this life on Wednesday February 26,2025 in the comfort of her home with her loved ones by her side.

Gloria was born in Rome, Ny the daughter of the late James Fernalld and Orpha Harvey Fernalld, she was educated in Sauquoit. In 1950 she was united in marriage to Robert Francis Hosey a loving commitment for 72 years until his passing on May 31,2023.

Gloria was employed in sales and service with Bradley Department Stores and was dedicated Mother to her seven children. Gloria had a successful business for over 20 years as the proprietor of the Original Holistic & Psychic Fair.

She will be sadly missed by her children Sandra Romanick, Fl, Wayne Hosey and his wife Mary of Fl; Cathy Gornick and her husband Jeff, New Hartford,NY, Bonnie Peery Sauquoit, NY Sharon Hosey, Utica, NY and Deanna Hosey of Cambridge, Mass.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren/ She was predeceased by her son Robert Hosey who died March 20,2014.

Gloria Jean's celebration of life will be Tuesday March 4, 2025 at 10 a.m. at St.Patrick's –St. Anthony's Church 3369 Oneida Street Chadwicks,NY where Father Daniel Caruso will celebrate a mass of Catholic burial.
