Gerald Edward Grygiel, 77, of New Hartford N.Y. passed away August 16, 2023. Born in Utica to John Sr. and Sophie (Pierog) Grygiel on September 13, 1945.

Jerry graduated from New Hartford High School and went on to work at Utica Radiator, Bendix, and retired from National Grid after more than 40 years. He was a member of the National Grid Gaslighters Club. He enjoyed his time on the golf course, at his camp at Otter Lake, and tinkering with classic cars. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR races and football.

Jerry is survived by his son Keith Grygiel (Joanne), brother and sister in-law John and Agnes Grygiel, many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law James and Helen Grygiel.

There will be a private family gathering and he will be laid to rest at Holy Trinity Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Heart Association.
