Gelsomina "Jessie" Cerminaro, 66, of Utica passed away February 29, 2024, with her loved ones at her side.

The daughter of Vincenzo and Catherine Caggese, Jessie was born Nov. 16, 1957, in Utica, New York. Jessie lived most of her life in Utica, attending both Mount Carmel, UCA and MVCC schools.

Jessie is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Cerminaro; son, Patrick Cerminaro; mother, Catherine Caggese;  two brothers, Cosimo Caggese; sister-in-law, Josephine Caggese;  Anthony "Tony" Caggese and two nephews and one niece, Vincenzo Caggese, and Santino & Mikaila Caggese, and one special grandniece Sienna Caggese. One adopted sister and her family, Christine, and Richard Harter. Two special God children Kristin Roberts and Peter Padula

Jessie's personal strengths of communicating, caring, and work ethics transcend the many professional management positions she held in banking, insurance, and medical recruiting. Including ownership of an American Recruiters International franchise.

Jessie loved spending time with her family and friends.  Jessie was a caring and selfless person, not only to her family and friends, but to everyone she met. So much so that she was considered a family member to many.

Jessie's Celebration of life  will be held  Tuesday March 5,2024 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Of Mt. Carmel / Blessed Sacrament Parish where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by the Rev. James Cesta. Friends may greet the family following the mass.
