Frank J. Ward passed away on January 28, 2013 in Utica, New York. He was born in Bayonne, New Jersey on October 14, 1952 to Muriel F. Ward (née Kelly) and Frank J. Ward, Sr. Beloved brother of Daniel E. Ward of Lake Tahoe, California and Patricia Ward-Trainor of Bayonne, New Jersey; loving uncle of Kelly and Fran Mason of Somerville, Massachusetts and Amber M. Ward of Portland, Oregon. Also survived by grand-nephews Ray and Shane Mason, and grand-niece Julianna Mason, as well as many cousins. Pre-deceased by his parents, brother Christopher J. Ward and sister Julie A. Ward. Graduated: St. Vincent de Paul R.C. Elementary School, Bayonne, NJ (aged 12) Hudson Catholic High School, Jersey City, NJ (aged 16) Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg, PA Bachelor of Arts, English Binghamton University (SUNY), Binghamton, NY Master of Arts, Economics Served as Research Consultant for SUNY Binghamton's Graduate Sociology Program Published author in literary journals; contributions included the award-winning short story "Refuse" Personal Frank will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and fondly remembered for his thoughtfulness, intelligence, sensitivity and sly wit.
