Ellen Darlene Caldwell, 78, of Old Rt. 31, Clyde, NY, entered into rest on January 10, 2011. She was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of the late Clarence Edward and Bulah Fenton Merrill and educated in California schools. Ellen was employed with Broadway department stores in California, later resided and worked in Utah, and then settled in the Clyde area. Ellen leaves behind her two sons and her daugter-in-law; Kenneth and Debbie Davis of Westminster, California; and Alan Caldwell of Clyde, NY.
