Eleanor Jane Ostrander, at age 84, of Cassville- Bridgewater,NY departed this life on Monday December 13,2021 at Faxton St. Lukes's healthcare.

She was born in Rome,NY and attended local schools. She was united in marriage to Howard Ostrander,Sr. January 1, 1954, a loving union for 44 years until Howard's passing in 1998.

Jane as everyone called her enjoyed watching birds, especially cardinals. She enjoyed scrapbooking and doing family history.

In the winter months she had the pleasure of watching her grandchildren snowboarding, sledding, and snowmobiling.

Jane will be sadly missed by her four children  and extended family;

Howard Ostrander, Jr.( Doris), Steve Ostrander (Zara), Jeff Ostrander (Debbie), Darla Satterlee ( Larry). Two brothers; Ron Johnson ( Jamie ) of Westernville, NY,; Bob Johnson ( Wanda ) of Boonville, NY. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Jane's family gathered privately to honor her life. She will be laid to rest in the spring  of 2022 at Fairview Cemetery, Bridgewater, NY.
