Edward C. (Chester) Cheseboro,73, of Deerfield NY passed away Saturday March 29 2025 at Rome Hospital after a brief illness

Edward was born June 5, 1951 in Utica, the son of Charles Cheseboro and Agnes (Thomas) Cheseboro.  He was educated in Utica schools and formerly attended Holy Trinity Church.  He was last employed as a bus driver for the Whitesboro Central School District.  Edward was an avid fisherman and hunter and was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

Edward was formerly married to the late Barbara McConnell.  He is survived by his two sons from that marriage, Edward Cheseboro and Charles (Chuck) Cheseboro, and their spouses Michele and Rhonda.  He is survived by a stepson, Victor Bullen of MA.  He is also survived by his sister and brother in law, Agnes and David Knox of Utica, his aunt and uncle Rosemary and Stanley Penz of Herkimer, his current partner Linda Sebastian and family, Lou Bullen's spouse Sherry Bullen, and his special adopted grandchildren Torie and Tyler Bullen.  He is predeceased by his long-time partner Carolyn Bullen and her son Lou Bullen.

Visitation will be held a 5p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday  April 9, 2025 at the John L Matt Funeral Home,3309 Oneida Street Chadwicks, NY.

Services will follow after the visitation. Private inurnment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
