Doreine R. Smith, 91, of Waterville and formerly of Westmoreland NY departed this life on Tuesday April 22, 2025 at the Waterville Residential Care Center.

Doreine was born in Utica, NY the daughter of the late Earl W. and Ruth Humphrey Jones. She was educated in Westmoreland schools and worked as a Bookkeeper for the Westmoreland Town Court.   She was an Avon Representative for forty years.

She is survived by her son Michael Rutledge of Cassville, NY and her beloved grandchildren; Rachael Rutledge, Kaitlin Rutledge, Sara O"Dell and Audra O'Dell;  her great-grandchild Ava . her sister Ellen Nolan of Arkansas . Many nieces  and nephews. She was pre deceased by her beloved husband, Edward J. Smith, daughter Johanne  ( Jody) O'Dell and great granddaughter Rozlyn O'Dell.

Doreine enjoyed camping with her husband and children.

The funeral will be held Monday at   April  28, 2025   at 11 a.m.  at  Annunciation Church in Clark Mills, NY where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Monsignor  James P. Lang .  Interment will be in Westmoreland   Union Cemetery.  Westmoreland, NY. There will be at time to greet the family after the mass.
