Donna Marie George, 55, daughter of the late George Hajjar and the late Anita Namy Hajjar, died Friday, August 12, 2016, at Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare in Utica, NY.

Donna was born in Utica, NY, on November 13, 1960. She was a graduate of Utica Free Academy and a life-long resident of the Utica area.

Surviving are her beloved daughter, Christine George, her two children, and her fiancé, James Searles, of Rochester, NY; her son, Albert Hajjar, of Rochester, NY; her cousin and best friend, Genevieve Tahan and her paternal aunt Violette Tahan, both of Whitesboro, NY; her brothers, Michael and David Hajjar, of Utica; her cousins, Mary and Albert Tahan, Bernadette Quenneville and Lisa Metacarpa, all of Whitesboro; her paternal uncle Niem Hajjar, of Fort Lauderdale, FL; her cousin, George Tahan, of Arlington, Mass, along with several other friends and cousins in Rochester and the Utica area.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Paul George, and her devoted partner of 18 years, John Linebeck.

Donna's family gathered in private prayer service where Deacon Paul Salamy presided. As per her request there will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will take  place  at Crown Hill Memorial Park Chapel on Wednesday August 24,2016 at 10 am where Deacon Paul Salamy will officiate.
