David W. Dunbar Jr., at age 66, departed this life on Tuesday July 5, 2022 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center.

David was born in Utica, NY, to the late David Dunbar and Jeannette Handzel Dunbar.  He attended John F. Kennedy High School and was employed at Utica National Insurance Company.  David enjoyed bingo, dancing and a love for animals.

David is survived by his partner Joseph Rinko, his mom Jeannette Dunbar, two brothers, Gilbert Dunbar and his wife Kathy, and Gary Dunbar, two sisters, Laura Miller and her husband Rich, Darlene Albigese and her husband Steve and many nieces and nephews.   He was predeceased by his father, David W. Dunbar Sr., and his sister, Debby Appler and two nieces, Jenny and Marie.

A celebration of David's life will be held Friday July 15,2022 at 11:30 a.m. in St Paul's Catholic Church, 16 Park Avenue, Whitesboro, NY.where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
