Dale W. Effner,58,of 9750 Babcock Hill Rd. Cassville,NY. died Saturday May 01,2010 as a result of a hunting accident. Dale was born in Bridewater, NY the son of the late William and Ruth Piersma Effner. He attended local schools in Bridgewater, and in 1970 joined the U.S.Armed Forces. He was a Vietnam Veteran and was last employed with Adirondack Compress GasCo. as a truck driver. Dale enjoyed the otdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He will be sadly missed by his Fiance' Joan Conklin, of Cassville,NY; his son and daughter-in law; Clint and Amanda Effner, Leonardsville,NY; His daughter Jodie Nichols ,of Waterville, N.Y. His step son Chad Hull, and his wife Rochelle; of New Hartford,NY; He is survived by his brother Mark Effner and his sister Darlene Effner. Also surviving are many close friends; Stanley Coffin, Clayville,NY; Paul Jones, Cedarville,NY At the covenience of Dale's family a celabration of his life was held in the outdoors as per his wish.
